On the 8th of November 2011 in Moscow All-Russian Conference “Region Telecom 2011” is taking place. The Conference is organized with participation of Regional Telecom Operators Association and Telephone Operators Association.

In the Conference telecom operators – RTOA members, regional and local telecom operators, science and production associations, equipment producers, system integrators, services providers, telecom field consultants and experts are participating.

The Conference program includes the whole range of themes, covering different aspects of regional development in communication field. Among them there are questions of industry regulation, role of regional and local telecom operators, development perspectives for small and medium-sized business, as well as questions of antimonopoly regulation of communication industry.

The participants of the Conference were greeted by acting head of the Federal Agency of Communications Sergey A. Malyanov.

He pointed out: «The Federal Agency of Communications bears very active part in solving current regional questions on providing access to the most up-to-date communication services for all inhabitants. In 2009 and 2010 Rossvyaz under the aegis of the Russian President Plenipotentiaries in Federal Districts has been holding regional conferences, in which representatives of telecom community and authorities of all levels were taking part. These conferences proved the readiness of all parties to solve together tasks of regions development. Collective discussion of tasks, which are similar for most of the regions, allows to work out unified fundamental viewpoints and approaches, and to get answers without spending time for searching solution, which already exists in other regions».
