In Saint - Petersburg State University of Telecommunications there is opened the base department of “Rostelecom” Company named “Innovative technologies of telecommunications”

New department was headed by Vice President - Director of Macro-region branch “North-West” of "Rostelecom" Company and Chairman of the S-PSUT Balatsenko Andrey Vladimirovich.

This course will give to the students a lot of new opportunities: they can gain an invaluable experience and a chance to build a successful career in a state company of the federal measure.

In his summing-up speech Sergey Victorovich Bachevskiy, Rector of S-PSUT, reminded the students that they are not the only set - similar basic department of “Rostelecom” Company are opened in the other four Russian universities: “I hope that after your study only about your group will be responded as the most talented and successful”.

Andrey Vladimirovich Balatsenko said a little more about the company, with which the students will be working: “Our industry, ICT industry is one of the foremost. Perhaps, no other sphere does not affect so much on our daily lives.”

Specially for the study at the base department of “Rostelecom” Company has been developed a new teaching literature. Deputy Supervisors Chair Professor Boris Solomonovich Goldstein told the students about the upcoming training and introduced with the modules of the course.

On this day, after the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the first pages of some kind of the chronicles of the Department “Innovative Technology Telecommunications” were filled - Stories of the parting words, impressions and wishes - the book where there will be pictures and the first impressions of students, teachers and administrators of the university.

At the end of the event, students were able to ask their questions to the representatives of the “Rostelecom” Company and get acquainted with the heads of departments of the future employer.
